Smokin'
Another great show at The Paradise by AOD. Although the band was having trouble with the on stage mix, you couldn't tell from the audience because the band brought the goods! Jason filling in for Jason Crosby on keys was excellent. He is certainly a good listener and added some tasty fills. Dave Diamond on drums was tight, tight.
The first set was some of the best AOD I've heard. Samuel Aging and Song We Sing were so intense that you'd think this band played all the time! Weehauken Ferry and Stone Choir were some old gems that were dusted off for us too. What a treat! Reid playing banjo was fun too. Mama in the second set was great and always a crowd pleaser at the "Boston bars." What a great crowd too and the band responded in kind. Definitely worth the download. Thanks again to Carl Daniels for the recording and upload to archive.
